"Press Only" Service Policy & Release of Liability
Service Limitation
This service includes professional steam-ironing or mechanical pressing only. It does strictly NOT include machine washing, dry cleaning, stain treatment, or sanitization.
Pre-Existing Stains & Odors
Items are processed entirely as-received. Customer acknowledges that applying industrial steam and heat to unwashed garments can permanently set pre-existing dirt, oil, and sweat stains. We assume zero liability for stains that become permanent or odors that remain after pressing.
Garment Care Labels & Structural Integrity
All items must possess legible manufacturer care labels. We are not responsible for damage, melting, shrinking, or color bleeding on garments missing a care label, or garments made of materials heat-sensitive to standard professional steam finishing.
Pre-Existing Damage
We are not liable for torn seams, frayed edges, loose buttons, or material degradation that worsens under standard mechanical pressing pressure.
Maximum Liability Cap
In the unlikely event of verified structural garment damage caused directly by our equipment or negligence, our liability is strictly capped at a maximum of ten (10) times the single-item pressing service charge, regardless of the garment's original retail brand value.

Sorting and Separation
Customers are required to separate garments into designated categories (Brights, Darks, and Whites). If an unseparated or improperly sorted load is submitted, we process it as-is. We assume zero liability for color bleeding, color transfer, or fading resulting from improperly sorted garments.
Pockets and Foreign Objects
Customers must thoroughly inspect and empty all pockets prior to drop-off. We are not responsible for damage caused to garments (or neighboring garments in a machine) by foreign items left in pockets, including but not limited to pens, markers, ink, lipstick, crayons, coins, keys, or lighters.
Item Counting and Bulk Weight
Wash & Fold is an automated, bulk-weight service. Items are processed, weighed, and tracked by the pound — not itemized piece-by-piece. We do not verify individual item counts upon receipt and assume zero liability for claimed missing individual items (such as socks or undergarments) within a bulk load.
Pre-Existing Wear and Tear
We are not responsible for structural damage that occurs naturally during standard washing and machine drying cycles due to aging fabrics, weak stitching, pre-existing fraying, or standard manufacturer manufacturing defects.
Shrinkage and Care Labels
All garments are machine-washed and tumble-dried on standard heat settings. We are not responsible for shrinkage, warping, or tearing of garments that require delicate hand-washing, line-drying, or dry-cleaning, nor for items missing legible manufacturer care instructions.
